Wieseth is centrally located to the historic towns of Bechhofen (5 km), Ansbach (20 km), Feuchtwangen (12 km) and Dinkelsbühl (19 km), on the Wieseth river of the same name. Wieseth is a rural community with medium-sized companies, retail and service businesses. Agriculture is also still carried out by a relatively large number of businesses as a secondary and main occupation. Various associations organize many club festivals every year and provide a wide range of activities for an active village life.
